As my aged laptop with original battery had finally become no more self-sufficiently mobile than to grumpily tolerate my switching outlets from the one near the desk to the one near the couch- no stops between either- I ordered a new battery. I'm using it now in my local coffee hang with WiFi. However, I've just realized that I failed to start it up and check the charge before coming here, and I'm low and descending. Perhaps one ought to charge up a thing that's likely been sitting in a storage warehouse for a year. Ya think?
